Poker Race Trophy Winner in Valencia: Doggyp75

The second of the six qualifiers has now won his place at our Race Trophy Grand Final to be held in the beautiful and historical city of Vienna on the 29th of November.

The well liked Finn is now guaranteed to walk away at least $10,000 richer at the final in Vienna, where he’ll obviously be playing for the first prize of $285,000.

Here's a brief profile of DoggyP75, our second Poker Race Trophy finalist:

DoggyP75, 32 years young and hailing from the rocking city of Helsinki, Finland, has only been playing on PokerRoom.com since 2007. By trade a forest manager, he’s certainly learnt a lot about poker in a very short time.

Crushing the competition in Valencia gives him a great shot at some serious cash in Vienna by winning our second semi-final of the Poker Race Trophy in an exciting heads-up. His winning hand – A4 suited.

Tamariz vs. DoggyP75
Blinds 1000/2000

The winner takes it all and that would be DoggyP75, to be honest they both played an incredible game but there can only be one winner here of course, no deals or splits here, I'm afraid. Tamariz made an aggressive all-in call, one hand into heads up and it just wasn't to be this time. Tamariz holding 10, 9 and DoggyP75 with A4, the cards came up with 546QA and the Aces have it, clean and easy and that's poker, well it is tonight at least!
