Corporate Social Responsibility

PokerRoom has set up a dedicated department for corporate social responsibility. The new department is not only responsible for activities that aim to prevent gaming addiction, but also for developing, coordinating and implementing all other newly identified CSR projects. One of the department’s main tasks is to learn from the development of the Company, while reflecting its political, strategic and practical goals so as to continually improve them.

PokerRoom’s “Corporate Social Responsibility” department operates proactively, taking a comprehensive approach to social responsibility rather than adopting a narrow focus. It participates in national as well as international committees and is committed to generating and imparting knowledge. The entire team ensures that the Company’s communications and the PokerRoom product range meet the highest possible standards.

Gaming with a partner who takes social responsibility seriously

PokerRoom is fully aware that it is marketing a product for which social acceptance is not uncontested. The Company is therefore particularly keen on safeguarding this product with a number of measures designed to ensure that the focus remains on the customer’s complete enjoyment, the quality of the products, and absolute confidence in the provider.

As part of its CSR activities, PokerRoom has developed a range of technical and social measures designed to ensure that potential problems are recognized at an early stage so that any customers affected can be offered expert assistance.

Protection of minors

Persons under the age of 18 are prohibited from making use of the EuroPoker betting and gaming line-up. EuroPoker is aware of its responsibility to prevent minors from taking advantage of its product portfolio.

In order to ensure maximum protection of minors, we also rely on co-operation with parents and carers.

Please keep your access details safe at all times (user ID, password and your question and answer combination).

Furthermore, we would recommend that you install filter software. This software will allow you to restrict internet access for children and young people. www.saferinternet.org is a website which is co-funded by the European Union and provides comprehensive information about internet filter software and also offers a free test version.
